Nellie Johnson Delese

Nellie Johnson Delese, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2007 at the Courtyard at Jamestown Assisted Living in Provo, Utah. She was born on April 18, 1916 in Cedar City, Utah the daughter of Dayton Johnson and Emerette Gifford. Nellie married Julius S. Delese on June 1, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They completed their family by adopting three children. Julius passed away in 1985.
Nellie attended the University of Utah and graduated as a registered nurse in 1937. Nellie is survived by her children; Robert C. Delese and Evelyn Marie Byrum, sister, Florence F. Cope; sister-in-laws, June H. Fairbanks, Verna H. Fairbanks, Marilyn O. Fairbanks, several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Mary Louise Delese.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Orem Park 4th ward, 50 South 750 West, Orem, Utah. Friends and family may visit prior to services from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. Interment at the Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, Tx.
