Norine M. Clark

Norine Mecham Clark slipped quietly away from her home in Payson and into the spirit world, to a grand reunion with her parents, sister and brother on Aug 5, 2007, after a valiant 3 year battle with breast and brain cancer. She was born in Provo, Utah on Dec. 21, 1926 to Fred Duke and Marian Vincent Peay Mecham.
She married Jack Clark on June 19, 1945. They spent 62 wonderful years together working side by side raising four wonderful children.
They lived in Spring Lake, Payson and Orem,Utah before Jack's work as a baker took them to Scottsdale, Az., Dallas, Tx., Spokane, Wash., and Oakland Ca. They retired to Genola, Utah and built their Dream Home. They eventually moved to Payson, Utah to help raise 3 beautiful granddaughters.
Norine was a dedicated member of the LDS Church. Where she held many positions; serving as RS President in 5 different wards. She developed many choice friendships. She loved music and always shared her beautiful soprano voice. She instilled that same love and talent for music in her children.
Her favorite device was the telephone. She will miss her phone. She kept in contact with family members via phone calls. We will miss our family updates. She was our link. She loved the mountains, whether going for a ride or family campouts. Easter egg hunts were a must for grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her Sweetheart Jack, son Steven Jack (Lauri) Clark of Chester, Utah, Daughters Kathleen J. (Max) Henrie, M. Annette (Lane) Adams of Orem, and Anna Marie Jones of Payson. 17 Grandchildren and 42 Great Grandchildren. Two Brothers, Fred Dan Mecham of Genola, and David E. (Verla) Mecham of Payson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mignon Remola Mecham Clark, and a brother Ralph James Mecham.
The family sincerely thanks the wonderful neighbors and ward members who helped in countless ways with love, support and meals. Also the nurses and wonderful aids of "Hearts for Hospice" who made it possible for us to care for Mom at home. We would like to thank SereniCare for their thoughtful and tender guidance.
