Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother, Patricia Ellen Poole, passed away on April 22, 2011, in Heber City, Utah.
Patricia was born to James and Mabel Jackson in Thief River Falls, MN on August 14, 1927. She is survived by her children Audrey Hiatt-Sims, Rodger Hiatt, Debera Leona Gunn and Richard Sidlin, 29 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Bovee Kress, daughters Peggy Lockwood and Diane L. Thrasher, son Jack Hiatt, one great-grandson, Guy Clark, parents James and Mabel Jackson, brother, James Jackson and sister, Dorthy.
Patricia found enjoyment in doing crossword and word-find puzzles as well as jigsaw puzzles and reading. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide in the VA Hospital in Long Beach, CA and several nursing homes. She also worked as a live-in home-care provider. She loved her family and friends and would help anyone who needed it.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Alpine Hospice, particularly nurses, Melanie and Lynn and nurses aid Susan Coker.
