Paul Ronald Millard

Paul Ronald Millard- a mentor to many, a man of strong stature, and a friend to all- died peacefully in his home in North Salt Lake, UT on December 18th, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Paul was born on October, 28th 1938 in Salt Lake City, UT to Vern Bryan and Laura Reimann Millard. He was the second youngest of seven children. He was raised in Salt Lake City, UT and attended South High School, Brigham Young University, and the University of Utah. Paul married his wife Nita on April 13, 1972, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Paul was genuinely loyal, honest, faithful, kind, and selfless. He loved his family and attended most, if not all of his children’s activities. He was always there to be a cheerleader and supporter. When he wasn’t working hard as a provider, he was busy faithfully serving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He devoted 29 years to the Salt Lake Temple and 5 years to the Bountiful Temple. Through his work as an entrepreneur as an exceptional handyman, he met many people and developed even more wonderful relationships. He was a friend to all and made others feel welcomed and loved in his presence. He had a magnetic personality and enjoyed making others laugh. He was his happiest while surrounded by people. Paul will continue to share his joyful spirit with his Heavenly Father.

His memory will be cherished by his devoted eternal wife Nita; their children Shaun, Greg (Julie), Lori (Greg), Scott (Brooke), Brad (Jamie), 16 grandchildren and his siblings Ruth, Lorna, and Duane.

Paul’s daughter Shantel, his parents Vern and Laura, brother Ken, and sister Marion were there eagerly waiting to reunite with him again.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a viewing on Tuesday, December 21st from 6-8pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 155 Coventry Ln, North Salt Lake, UT 84054. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 22nd at 11am also at 155 Coventry Ln, North Salt Lake, UT 84054. There will be an additional viewing before the memorial service from 9:30-10:30am.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Atlas Homecare and Hospice for their kind and loving care given to Paul.
