Paul Frederick Young

Paul Frederick Young, age 76 of Salt Lake City, Utah, died Monday, November 22, 2010 at his home in Salt Lake. Paul was born in Salt Lake City on June 14, 1934, the son of Verle and Edith Tippetts Young. Paul's family moved to Shelley, Idaho where he attended schools. He is a graduate of Shelley High School and continued his education at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. Paul is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad where he worked as a clerk. He enjoyed his extra time by fishing and camping, gardening, reading and doing genealogy work. Paul was married and is survived by his wife, Cynthia Cox Young. His children, Michael Adam and Jonathon Clifford Young and a step-son, Gary Akins Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Margene, Verlene and Winifred and brothers Darrell and Waid. We share our appreciation to the Staff of LDS Hospital and Dignity Home Health and Hospice for their loving care of Paul.
