Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully February 23, 2008. She was born November 24, 1923 to Hattie and Henry Brown in Marshall, Texas and moved to SLC in 1959, she retired form the VA Hospital in 1986. She was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her companion Russell Morton; her son John H. (Diane) Brown; sister Viola Goff; brother, Leon Brown; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Manual Crockett, both parents and 6 siblings.
Viewing will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church 1090 S. State Street on Friday February 29, 2008 at 12:00 noon, services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery 6500 S. Redwood Rd. The family would like to express special thanks to Silverado Hospice.
