St. George, UT - Philip Richard Trask, 87, went to be with the lord, and his loving wife, August 30, 2011, He passed away at his home in St. George, UT, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born September 3, 1923, in Hayfork, CA, to Bernard and Monica Watson Trask.
Grandpa fought a courageous battle with Sarcoma Cancer for the last twelve months, he was indeed a true trooper. The entire time he was sick, he never once had a complaint or a bad thing to say about anything or anyone. He was the most amazing, loving person and grandfather.
He is survived by: his son Ronald (Sandra) Moore of Meridian, ID; two granddaughters Jennifer (Grady) Barnhardt, of St. George, UT, Rebecca Moore of Estes Park, CO; great-grandson Steven William Moore; and a brother Bernard (Kate) Trask of Litchfield, AZ. He was preceded in death by his first love, Teanie Watson Trask who passed away August 24, 2009 after 40 years of marriage.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the caring staff of Rocky Mountain Hospice, for their outstanding kindness and service. Private family services will be held.
