Ralph Benjamin Bytheway, 85, was born February 26th, 1924 in West Jordan, UT passed away early Tuesday morning, March 24th. Parents Henry Kendrick Bytheway and Mercy Rebecca Hill Bytheway. Ralph is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Larsen Bytheway. Also survived by his children, Steven (Laraine) Bytheway, Linda Carroll, Diane (David) Burton, Karen (Jim) Bickerstaff, Scott (Debi) Bytheway, 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Ralph was a machinist for Bennett Paint & Glass for 37 years in Salt Lake City. He and Ruth moved to Leeds, UT in 1995. They were married Jan. 20, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. Ralph spent his days gardening, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing. He always had a great love for all animals. This great man, whom we love so much and will be truly missed by so very many, is about to embark on a beautiful journey to wonderful reunions and great new projects to keep him busy.
Services will be held in the Leeds chapel on Main street, viewing will begin Friday, March 27th 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday March 28th 10:00-10:45 immediately followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m., burial will be at the Hurricane cemetery.
