Raymond J Donley passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 14, 2015, with his wife, Pat by his side. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on December 30, 1925, to Ray and Florence (Feil) Donley. Ray attended Muskegon High School and Michigan Tech. University. After serving 4 years in the Navy, he began working for Wyman-Gordon Co. in Northboro, MA as a Metallurgical Engineer in the Aero Space Industry. After retiring in 1989, he moved to Utah where he could continue his favorite sport of skiing, which he did often with the "Wild Old Bunch"of Alta. He also was an avid hiker, fly-fisherman, and an active member of the Newcomers Club-RMSG. He was as loving and sociable person who wanted to be around and talk to people. Consequently, he had many friends who loved him. Always willing to give anyone a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Florence; his two older brothers, Vernon and Larry; and his beloved wife, Mary. He also had a special place in his heart for his dog, Kona, who passed away five years ago and is eagerly waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge. Surviving Ray is his wife, Pat; his son, Kelley; his daughter, Kim; his grandchildren, Alex and Brian; nieces; and nephews. Condolences may be shared at SereniCare.com
