Raymond Herbert Redlich, of Ivins, Utah, age 81 died February 27, 2013 at Dixie Regional Hospital. Ray was born to Ed Redlich and Emmie Amling in Anaheim, California. He joined the Navy serving on the USS Oriskiny during the Korean War. He married Mary after his discharge from the Navy. He continued his naval training as a machinist working at Lockheed, United Airlines and various machine shops. They had four children, John (Dawn), David (Sandra), Donald and Cindy; 16 grandchildren and one great grandson. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy. He shared Sandy's children, Deb, Laural and Phil (deceased) and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Effie. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at New Promise Lutheran Church, 244 S. Valley View Drive, St. George, Utah, 435-628-4740. In lieu of flowers, donations to New Promise Lutheran Church are requested. Family services will be held in Nevada City, California at a future date.
