Rebecca Ann Tincher

Utah on May 13, 1978 to Bill and Robin Tincher. She was predicted to have a short time on earth, but Cerebral Palsy couldn't subdue her feisty spirit. She utilized that spirit to teach love and humility, showing one miracle after another and achieving dreams doctors deemed impossible!
Becky's progression from scooting on her bottom to standing then walking came with great effort. She began sharing with us her brilliant wisdom and knowledge when she was given a book to assist her with communication. The book never left her side. Becka graduated from Lone Peak High School in 1999. She was formally honored by her classmates as "a brilliant young woman". Becky enjoyed pizza, chocolate milk and peanut butter cups. Becky found spirituality in nature. She loved the outdoors and fishing. She participated in Special Olympics and made friends easily, always welcoming family and friends with a big smile.
Rebecca is survived by her mother, Robin Tincher of Orem, father and step mother, William G. (Cindy) Tincher of Orem, two adoring sisters, Tricia and Krisy and four step siblings; Darrel, Ben, Nicole and Sara Brower, grandmothers, Shirley (JC) Fife of Cedar City and Peggy Dilley of American Fork, numerous aunts and uncles.
Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents; James A. Dilley, Bill and Janet Tincher, great grandparents, Allen and Kathryn Dilley, Leonard and Delphina Bland.
The family would like to give special thanks to Key Residential Services for the awesome environment and care provided. We as family and friends, honor Becky for her outstanding courage and accomplishments. We also honor her mother, Robin, she was tireless and dedicated, determined to help her angel meet her full potential. Becky would say her mother was her angel.
