Reed Andrus Nelson

Reed is known for his great smile and genuine interest in conversation. Although he struggled for many years with poor health, Reed most enjoyed the last thirteen years of his life with his loving, caring, and devoted companion Andrea. They enjoyed many adventures together including events related to Reed's interest in airplanes, automobiles and railroads. These adventures together strengthened their relationship, but more binding was their every day care for each other's comfort and wellbeing.
Reed will be missed, but his wife, family and friends are comforted in knowing that he can now rest, be with his parents and progress in spirit. Preceeded in death by his father Owen Roberts Nelson and his mother Melba Andrus Nelson.
Survived by his best friend and loving wife Andrea Jean Nelson. Survived by daughter Amber Thomas, sister Leah Jane Nelson Jeppson (Bil), brother Robert Owen Nelson (Susan) and step children Russell, David, Michelle, Rachel, Rebecca and Angela.
Funeral services will be held on Wed 11/10/2010 at LDS church building located at 2603 W. 4700 S., Taylorsville. Viewing at 11:00 am, Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Draper City Cemetery at 12450 S. 900 E.
