Richard Arnold, loving husband, beloved father and devoted son passed away on October 17, 2006 in Orem, Utah. He was 75 years old. Richard was born on November 27, 1931 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was known as Whitey Arnold. He was married in Santa Monica, California, on September 12, 1959. He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He worked for 27 years at GTE in Santa Monica, California. He owned and operated Alpine Video in Alpine, Utah for fifteen years. He was best known for his quick wit and kind heart. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan Shirley Elliott, daughters; Judi Marie and (Fred) Kesler, Lori Michelle and (Geoff) O'Connell, Barbi Lynn and (Ryan) Schramm, Shari Louise and (Jason) Weaver and brother John Edward and his wife Shirley Arnold of Harrisburg, PA. He had eleven grandchildren: Taylor, Freddy, Kaitlin, Brett, Morgan, Chandler, Emeli, London, Sawyer, Haven and Indiana. He had five nephews and 2 nieces and several cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the Springville 7th Ward LDS Chapel located at 1781 East 400 South, Springville, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
