Richard A. Daily

Richard A. Daily passed away on January 5, 2010. Richard was born November 19, 1935 to Geneva and W. Lee Daily in St. Joseph Missouri. Richard married Dixie D. Maugh on September 5, 1953 in St. Joseph. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 16, 1958. They moved to Utah in 1973 where he worked for Powder River Livestock. He also worked for and retired from Allstate Insurance. During retirement he kept busy babysitting his first great-grandson Jackson, and singing barbershop harmony. Richard's greatest joys were his family, church, and singing with his quartet, the Bamberger Express.
Richard is survived by his wife Dixie; children Rich (Nicki), Terri Rock (Mike), Tim (James Hanson), and James (Kuuipo). He is also survived by grandchildren Ashley (Jason), Curtis (Lacey), Christopher, Joey, Kevin, Keilani, and Tre; great-grandsons Jackson, Jett, and Harper; brothers Lee, Charles; and sister Carolyn Garver. Richard's family would like to thank all those who have been involved in his care and for the help of neighbors and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 11:00 am in the Orem 5th Ward Chapel located at 50 South 800 East, Orem Utah. Viewings will be held Friday January 8, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and prior to funeral services from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at the Orem 5th Ward Chapel. Interment date, time and location is pending.
