Richard C. David; 85, of Murray, Utah died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at his home in Murray, Utah. He was born November 10, 1922 in Lake Delton, Wisconsin, the son of Charles L. and Lettie House David. He was a 1940 graduate of Lake Delton High School. He married Ethelyn J Carter on August 1, 1942. He helped raise four successful children. They were later divorced in October of 1968. He served from 1942 to 1945 in the US Navy SEABEES assigned to the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He married Carol E. Clark on July 11, 1986. She preceded him in death on July 3, 2005. He was a service station manager for 20 years in the Salt Lake area. Richard enjoyed visiting with friends and family and was a real friend to many. He loved to play golf and was a Green Bay Packers Fan. He enjoyed cooking and cleaning house. He is survived by his children; James(Helen)David, Tom (Dee) David, Don (Robin) David, Teri (Lynn) Baker, Dan Mellus, Dave (Susan) Mellus and Vicki Pete. 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Waterbury Condominium Clubhouse (5830 South Waterbury Way, 1550 East). The family requests that in lieu flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
