Robert Joseph Healy

Our beloved father and grandfather, Robert Joseph Healy Jr., 58, died at home in Reno, Nevada on April 19, 2012. He was born on April 15, 1954 in Vallejo, California to Robert Joseph Healy Sr and Nancy Gene Smith Healy. He married his wife Katherine on June 22, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later divorced.
After serving in the US Army, he worked as a carpenter in residential construction. Joseph had a passion for cooking and music. He was a beloved grandfather who saw his grandchildren every day. He was the most "alive" and loving person. He loved God very much.
Joseph is survived by his children Amber Katherine Healy, Vanessa Rene Healy and Diedra Healy; gradsons Giovanni, Zander and Daniel and granddaughter Annabel. He is also survived by his brother William Healy and sister Jessica Healy Ellsworth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the LDS Church at 1095 Golconda Way in Reno, Nevada.
