Robert Anthony Jurgens

Cmdr. Robert Anthony Jurgens (77) of Draper, Utah and Mesquite, Nevada passed away at home August 23, 2010.
Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York November 4, 1932 to Eleanor Beorum and William Berhnard August Jurgens II. Robert graduated from Indiana University with a B. A. in Business. He retired from a 20-year career as a Commander in the United States Navy in 1979 and as a decorated combat pilot as well as a respected test pilot and flight trainer.
He was married to Karen Carlson Jurgens September 26, 1998. Robert is survived by his wife; daughters Kathy Geiser, Lisa Marie Baldridge, Brooke Jurgens Neylan, and Johanna Jurgens Moutoux; seven grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Barron.
He has left a legacy of family and long-time friendships that celebrate the honor, love and integrity with which Robert led his life.
The memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26th at 2:00PM at The Cottonwood Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. The family appreciates any donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Robert Anthony Jurgens.
