Robert Carl Lamb, 82-year-old, St. George resident, passed away on December 11, 2011 at his home.
Robert was born on November 18, 1929 in Danville Georgia, to Marion Foster Lamb and Sadie Wright. On August 14, 1982 he married Dawna Kristine Brown, in McGill, Nevada.
Robert had a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelors in Electrical and Structural.
He served in the United States Navy as a pilot in the Korean War. He was very proud of serving his country.
Robert is survived by his wife, Dawna, sons: Clayton, John, Bobby, and Stephen. Daughters: Valeri, Nichole, Patricia, Carol, and Jeanne, and 24 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Robert was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He was a very spiritual man who loved to serve others. He enjoyed camping, fishing, going on cruises, reading western books, and researching his family history. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in Pioche, Nevada. Arrangements under the direction of SereniCare. Condolences may be made to www.serenicare.com. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund set up at Deseret First Credit Union in St. George, Utah.
