Robert "Mac" McAllister 1946 ~ 2010 Robert D. McAllister, good and faithful servant, returned home Wednesday, August 4, 2010 due to complications from pancreatic cancer. Born September 3, 1946 in Pasadena, California an only child to Ted & Mef McAllister. Prior to being honorably discharged from the U.S. Coast Guard he married his sweetheart Pamela Mae Davis in the Manti Temple on August 22, 1970. Graduating with a BS from BYU in 1975. Mac was a steadfast and faithful member of the LDS Church diligently serving in many callings after joining the LDS Church in 1963. He especially enjoyed his time as a Temple worker in the Provo Temple. He was currently self employed after having worked for BYU, Klemp, Systron Donner Inertial Division, Cardiac Pacemakers Inc., Daig Corporation and Logan High School. Mac was the Auditorium Subcommittee chair, North Branch area Schools, North Branch, MN. Adjunct Professor, University of Wisconsin, Stout and participated in multiple community bands & orchestras. He loved genealogy, anything to do with trains and railroads, photography, history, music and literature. Mac is survived by his wife Pamela McAllister, Salem, UT; children, Mary-Jocelyn (Mathew) Moreno, Salem, UT; Douglas (Courtney) McAllister, West Jordan, UT; Deborah (Mac) Story, Indianola, UT; Ross (Angela) McAllister, Lehi, UT; James McAllister, West Jordan, UT; 10 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents. Viewing will be at the Apple Blosom Church, 25 W Apple Blossom Way, Salem City, UT on Monday, August 9, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment will be at Salem City Cemetery.
