Robert Clifford 'Lucky' McGinnis
Robert Clifford "Lucky" McGinnis, 82, of Yachats, Ore. died from complications of cancer on July 16, 2011.
He was born March 27, 1929 to Clifford Robert and Anna Rykkeli McGinnis in Silverton, Ore. In 1947, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was later a school bus driver and a police officer in Wyoming. He also worked as a truck driver for CR England, EFB and PST for more than 41 years.
He loved to play cards. He was a caring and generous man with a big heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Anna McGinnis; half-brother, Kenneth McGinnis; and grandson, Skyler Lloyd.
He is survived by daughters, Kathy, Kelly, Heather McGinnis Frandsen (Mike Powell), Lydia Marin and Kasey Stone; grandchildren, KC Lloyd, Kaden Powell, Merlin Martin, Nathan Craven, Airiel, Abraham and Brayden Julander; and daughter-in-law, Brandi Craven.
A memorial service and burial will be at Utah State Veteran's Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah at a time and date to be announced.
