Ronald P. Milcheck

Our beloved father and grandfather, Ronald Paul Milcheck, 71, died peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona on August 31, 2014. He was born on October 7, 1942 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to Steve and Kathryn Milcheck. After finishing high school at Duquesne High School (Duquesne, PA) in 1960, Ron received is Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Youngstown State University (Youngstown, OH) in 1968. In between high school and earning his collegiate degree, he served honorably in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963 and received the rank of Specialist 5. Ron spent his professional career working at Alcoa in Pittsburgh, PA where he retired in 1993 as the Vice President of Operations. After retirement, he enjoyed working with NFL Films and worked in security for the US Department of Energy. Ron had a passion for travel and enjoyed exploring the deserts of Arizona. He was an avid sports fan and was extremely devoted to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ron is survived by his children Lisa (Aaron) Lee and Jeff Milcheck, both of Redding, California, and his grandchildren Jacob and Ella Lee, and brother Steve (Donna) Milcheck.
