Ronald Max Peart

Ronald Max Peart "Ronnie", 65, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend was born September 3, 1941 in Payson, Utah to Max and Ruth Harward Peart. Ronnie Married Linda Sachs in 1966 in Chicago Illinois. They later divorced and he married his sweetheart Nancy Jean Perkes on November 5, 1988 in West Mountain, Utah.
He was the owner of Hatu Ornamental Iron Works and spent most of his career working for and retiring from Geneva Steel in Orem. With a love for the out-of-doors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and photography. Ronnie trained horses and was a jockey. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs and was a friend to all.
Ronnie is survived by 10 children; Jodi & Rick Zobell (Payson), Stephanie & David Openshaw (Eagle Mountain), Christy & Shane Hubbard (Santaquin), Darin & Katherine Small (San Diego) Richelle & Chris Lessing (Salt Lake City), Shane & Meagan Peart (Lehi), Eric & Nicole Small (Magna), Heath & Sonja Small (Montrose, CO), Seth Small (Payson), Jessica Small (San Diego). He is also survived by his brother Bob & Bev Peart (Benton Harbor, MI) and his sister Renee & Joel Crouch (Payson), 27 grandchildren, many aunts and uncles, nephews; Troy, JoelB, RonLynn, Justin, Devin, Bobby, in-laws Weldon and Jean Perkes (Mapleton) and Ronnies K9 companions; Jasmine, Sinbad, Tootsie and Joe.
He is now experiencing a joyful reunion with his parents.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 12, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the West Mountain 1st Ward, 5237 West 10400 South, Payson, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same location on Thursday, January 11 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the service where friends and family may call.
