Roy Franklin Morris passed away on May 13, 2010 at home in West Jordan, Utah. He was born October 23, 1925 in Lakeview, Oregon to John Calvin and Florence Elizabeth Morris. He married Marilyn Morris on October 8, 1972 in Elko, Nevada.
Roy honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He was a commercial freight truck driver. He earned the award of Million Miler. He loved traveling, gardening and fixing things.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, and his four children: Magdalene Susan Ethington, Andrea Lynette Ibarra, Nathan John Morris and Michael Franklin Morris. He is also survived by his four sisters: Mildred Richardson, Florey Albertson, Dola Koop and Margie Pardue.
Services will be held at the Stake Center, 8035 S. Lessley Drive, on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:30 a.m.
