Rulon Kay Jensen passed peacefully in his sleep May 26, 2015 at age 86. Rulon was born on July 20, 1928 in Huntsville Utah to Peter Christian and Nelchene Wallace Jensen. He married the love of his life in 1946 to Helen Hall in Elko, Nevada which was later solemnized in the SLC Temple. His dear wife Helen, was his constant companion and always involved in caring for him. They had a full life of activities including ballroom and square dancing, camping, boating, water skiing and snowmobiling in the local mountains until his health slowed him. Rulon had good memories of hunting with his brothers. His first business was Jensen Ice which involved delivering blocks of ice to homes and businesses in SLC. He was also co-owner/operator of Jensen & Stevens trucking. He loved the Real Estate business and was the owner/ broker of Anchor Realty, named after his love of boating. He enjoyed beekeeping and at one time he had over 1,000 beehives in Rupert, Idaho. He renewed this hobby in the last year of his life. Rulon was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Rulon is survived by his wife Helen and 3 children, Linda (Scott) Salyer, Dianne (Dean) Wiberg, Greg (Shauna) Jensen, and 12 grandchildren. He was also survived by his brothers Wallace Jensen, and Clarence Jensen and his sister Emma June Stewart. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Jensen, and his sisters Pauline Hartsock and Marilyn Watson. Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 30th at 11:00 AM at the Washington Terrace 2nd Ward building at 350 West 5050 South, Ogden, UT. The services will be preceded by a viewing at 10:00 AM at the same location. The graveside service will be at the Huntsville Cemetery at approximately 2:00 PM.
