Ruth Ann Hawkins April 8, 1941-November 23, 2010 Ruth Ann was born in Provo, Utah. She was married in the Provo Temple on November 29, 1968 to Orville Leonard Hawkins. They have five children she loves dearly. She especially loves her grandchildren. She loves all children. They all loved to call her grandma. She was a very loving, caring, giving person. She was open-hearted to anyone who was in need. She loved crocheting and sewing. She was always doing quilts and other things for members of her Ward or for her family. Family always anticipated receiving something handmade during the holidays. She was also very good at making jewelry and would make necklaces for the family members. She is survived by her husband Orville, her children Shawn (Cheryl), Camie (Kirk) Ricks, Chris (Carol), Matt, as well as her sister, 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Amanda. Services will be held at 12:00 noon at the Academy Park Chapel at 4605 W. Westpoint Drive in West Valley City. A viewing will be held prior to the services at 10:30 am.
