Salote Lasini Mele Tuipulotu Fakatou-Wolfgramm June 27, 1915 - January 26, 2008
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother Salote Lasini Fakatou-Wolfgramm returned to our Heavenly Father at the age of 92. She was born in Kolonga Tongatapu, Tonga, daughter of Penisoni Kaufusi Fakatou'io & Seluvaia Mafi.
Salote & the late 'Iohani Otto Wolfgramm were married July 2nd, 1933, later sealed at the Salt Lake City Temple in November 1965. Together they had 19 children, 115 grandchildren, 220 great grandchildren, & 4 great-great grandchildren- all of whom were born in Salote's lifetime.
Among her many accomplishments were her dedication to her family, commitment to magnify her callings, genealogy work in the Church, & endless service to her fellow beings. Salote & 'Iohani served 8 full time missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her undying love & wonderful example will live on in our hearts & lives for many generations. Salote we love you & will miss you greatly. "God be with you 'till we meet again." 'Ofa lahi atu fau!
Funeral services will be as follows: Family Viewing, Thursday, 1/31/2008, , 7p.m.-10:30p.m., Taylorsville 6th Ward, 5450 S 600 W, Taylorsville, UT Public Viewing, Friday, 2/1/2008, , 7p.m.-10:30p.m. Funeral Service, Saturday, 2/2/2008, , 10a.m.-12p.m. Services Friday and Saturday will be held at the Salt Lake South Tongan Stake Center 4660 W 5015 S, Kearns, UT. Burial will be at Redwood Memorial Cemetery 6500 S Redwood Road.
