Sara Lin Preston Allridge

Sara Lin Preston Allridge was born on May 11, 1977. She left this earthly existence on April 12, 2011. Sara was welcomed into heaven with her Grandpa Les's loving arms around her.
Sara is survived by her daughter, Kiaya Preston, husband, Troy Allridge, step-sons, Nathan, Cameron, Mason and Jackson, her parents, Jan and Alan Weight, Rudy and Valarie Preston, brothers, Josh Preston, Eli (Brenda) Preston, Dillon Preston, Jason (Molly) Weight, Kyle Weight, Scott Jones, Danny Bennet, sisters, Katelyn (Brandon) Young, Adra (Ryan) Rapier, Ambree Cazier, Kim Jones and Deanna (Matt) Olson. She is also survived by her grandmothers Jackie-Brady Ostler, Vivien Preston, and many nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Lester M. Brady and Edgar D. Preston.
Sara attended schools in American Fork, Pleasant Grove and Provo, Utah, graduating in 1995. In August of 1995, her beautiful baby girl, Kiaya, was born.
Sara held many jobs at this time in her life, always excelling and moving upward at each one. She went back to school, earning several certifications as well as an Associate Degree in Business. Sara worked for Close To My Heart for the last six years, again starting in consultant services, working her way up to Quality Control Assurance/Project Manager in the IT Department. This was a job she was very proud of and enjoyed.
Sara was a very determined and independent woman. She bought her own home and vehicles. She loved the great outdoors and doing such things as camping, rockhounding, hiking, fishing and hunting. She was bound and determined to shoot a big ol' elk one day.
Sara married Troy Allridge on September 18, 2010. She was so excited to marry her best friend and walk down that aisle, on her Dad's arm, wearing a beautiful wedding gown. Sara was so beautiful that day.
When Sara loved, she loved with all her heart. She loved her daughter dearly. Sara was one of a kind and will be missed immensely.
There will be a viewing on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM with a funeral service following at 12:00 noon. Services will be held at the Sharon Park 5th Ward chapel located at 150 East 600 North, in Orem, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made at Freedom Credit Union at 815 North, Freedom Boulevard, Provo, Utah, under the name of Janice Weight.
