There is a new classy lady brightening heaven today, Sarah Darlene Foutz passed away peacefully on Nov. 19, 2017 at the age of 77, she was born March 13, 1940 to Lawrence and Norma Burt Bowen in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the oldest of 5 siblings.
Darlene married R. Gary Foutz May 15, 1959, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, together they have 4 children, Lisa (Jed) Miller, Ryan (Tiffany) Foutz, Jennifer (Terry) Fox and Whitney Foutz, 6 grandchildren, Morgan, Corby, Austin, Tyler, Garrett and Jake and 1 great grandchild, Cruz.
Darlene was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints , she always looked her best, had a great sense of humor, loved music, played the piano and organ, enjoyed dancing, travel and baking. Darlene will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the strength and courage she showed while battling Parkinson's.
We would like to thank the many caregivers, including family, friends, neighbors, but especially her loving companion of 59 years.
Survived by siblings; Brent (Rolayne) Bowen, Vicky (Delyn) Yeates, Shelly (Jackie) Bowen and Marsha Nordgran and in-laws Carl and Diane Andra.
Funeral services will be held Sat. Nov. 25, at 11:00 at the Syracuse Stake Center, 2024 S. 1475 W. A viewing will be held at the chapel from 9:30-10:45. Interment in Smithfield Cemetery, 300 E. Center St.
