Sarah Ruth Perkins

Sarah Ruth Perkins passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 15, 2009 with family and her best friend Brian by her side. Sarah was born on August 11, 1965 in Danville, Illinois to Delver and Vivian Songer. She was their eleventh child. She married her soul mate Frank on May 20th, 1989 in Southern California. She was a wonderful wife giving her all to the man she loved. Frank and Sarah have 2 wonderful children, Heather Marie and Ian Nicolas. Sarah Spent her earlier years growing up in California where she enjoyed spending time on the beaches. She had a great love for dolphins. Sarah Leaves behind 5 sisters and 3 brothers; Di Stewart of Washington, Pete Songer of California, Lenard of Illinois, Bill of Illinois, Aleta (Stan) of Texas, Marty (Tim) of West Valley, Tia (Ken) of Salt Lake, and Patty (Bob) of West Valley. She is preceded in death by both parents and 2 brothers Del and Herman. Family would like to thank Jennifer, Barbara, Vicki, and Abby from hospice for all their love and support and to her best friend Brian for always being there. A private family gathering will be held in her honor.
