Scott Lamont Anderson

Scott lived in Tampa, Florida. Services will be in SLC, Utah Scott L. Anderson, 56, passed away at his residence. He was born in Salt Lake City to Lamont and Janice Anderson on November 19, 1956. He graduated from Granite High School and later attended BYU-Hawaii and the University of Utah in their Accounting programs. He served a full-time mission for the LDS church in the Philippines. He was married in the Salt Lake Temple, but later divorced. He enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry for more than 30 years where he received many awards and recognition's He enjoyed traveling, playing the organ and spending time with family and friends. Scott is survived by his parents, Lamont and Janice, sister Sherri (Grant) Swartz, brother Brad (Stacy), son Thomas (Desiree), nephews, a niece, and two grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday March 23 at the Cottonwood Heights 1st Ward located at 7075 S. 2250 E. Cottonwood Heights, beginning at 12 Noon. A visitation will be held beginning at 10am prior to service for family and friends. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Estates 3100 E Bengal Blvd, SLC, Utah Condolences may be sent to the family at www.serenicare.com.
