Shannon Michele Eastmond

Shannon Michele Eastmond, 59, passed away in her home in the presence of her loving family and long time companion, April 12, 2010. Shannon was born in Salt Lake City February 26, 1951 to Robert McKinley "Mick" and Charis "Cherry" Eastmond.
Shannon graduated from Lehi High School where she loved cheerleading and debate. She then went on to graduate from Idaho State University with a bachelor degree in business management and corporate training.
Shannon married her high school sweetheart Johnny Nielson (later divorced) and they had a wonderful daughter together. She then went on to find her lifelong companion Steven J.
Shannon will always be remembered as a very forgiving person, who never had a negative word to say about anyone or anything. She was an inspiration to everyone whom she knew. Shannon loved music and was a great musician and a wonderful singer.
Shannon is survived by her daughter Cori (Jeff) Collard; siblings Shelly, Dirk, and Charis Eastmond; grandchildren Colby and Taylr Jacobs, and Jacey Collard; nieces and nephews, Tayne, Sierra, McKell, and McKinley Eastmond; and kitties, Teddy, Trouble, and Buddy.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 17, at the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, UT, at 1:00 P.M. A viewing will be held prior to the services starting at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at the American Fork Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of SereniCare Funeral Home.
