Shannon Greene 1964 - 2012
Shannon Greene, age 48, passed away suddenly of complications from asthma on Oct 25,2012 in Francis, Utah.
She was born Sept 18,1964 in Provo, Utah to parents, Dennis R Greene (deceased) and Mary L Garlick.
Shannon was very passionate about art. She loved any form extending from drawing and painting to designing and creating dream catchers and jewelry.
She always received high praise and recognition of her art from family and friends, but she received bragging rights for her art while attending the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. She was chosen to have a few of her pieces displayed at the entrance to the school.
Shannon loved living a spiritual existence and sharing spiritual experiences with her family and friends.
She also practiced some Native American Traditions.
She truly believed in our Mother Earth and taking care of her as best she could. She was "Green" through and through.
The people she leaves behind to carry on her memory in their hearts are: Her daughters, Meghan Lyndsey Huovinen, Amanda DeLeon Perez, Elizabeth Anne Perez, Her close, loving, companion Timothy Bergen, Her parents Mary and Stephen Garlick, Her brother Michael D Greene, Her sisters, Kauline Hay and Heather Garlick Aunt Suzy Elegante and Uncle Jay Bowen, and many nieces and nephews.
Shannon's family wishes to extend their love and thanks to friend Celeste Angeli and all of Shannon's great friends for being such a large, loving, part of her life.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Nov 3, 2012 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Serenicare Funeral Home 12278 S Lone Peak Parkway #103 Draper, Utah.
