Sharon Stephens Dunyon Born July 22, 1947 Died January 7, 2010 from complications due to Lupus. Sharon was born in Cedar City, Utah to Floyd and Joy Stephens.She attended Cedar High and was a member of the Band, Pep Club and awarded the Betty Crocker Award. She lived up to this by creating delicious meals and treats for family and friends. Sharon's cookie jar was always full. Sharon attended St. Mark's School of Nursing completing her degree at Westminster. She worked for St. Mark's Hospital for 38 years as aR.N. enjoying every moment. Sharon enjoyed serving in the DAV Auxilary as Unit Commander, State Commander and numerous other duties and assignments. Sharon is survived by her husband, Randy K. Dunyon, children, Michelle, Jonathan and Gary Dunyon, siblings, Scott (Elaine) Stephens, Tawnya Stephens and Lorie Stephens. Sharon was a spit-fire who lived life to the fullest. She was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of seven, but didn't let that stop her. She worked twice as hard to have twice the fun. In the end her spirit was willing but her flesh was weak. Sharon, you are the life of the party. Rock on. A Funeral Service will be held in Sharon's honor at 11:30 a.m. with a viewing prior from 10 to 11 a.m. on January 12th, 2010 at the Westbrook 6th Ward located at 6364 S. 3200 W. in Taylorsville.
