Shirley Steggell Evans

Shirley Steggell Evans passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2009 with her family and friends by her side. Shirley was born on September 28th, 1935 in Vineyard, Utah to Howard and Isabelle Steggell. She married Gene L. Evans forty-nine years ago in Elko, Nevada. Shirley will be fondly remembered for always having a joke to tell, fishing, camping, cribbage, card games, and gambling. Shirley was a wonderful cook and she loved food. Shirley is survived by her husband, Gene, her children; Gene (Debbie), Edward (Chris), Mike, Kim (Bernice), and Karen, her grandchildren; Dannalee, Derek, Lynsie, Jaime, Tina, Ashley, Kayla, Anthony, Gina, Michael, and Cody, and Gene. She was also survived by twelve great-grandchildren with two more on their way, and several nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her son Mark, and her brothers and sisters. As per Shirley's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Please sign guest book at www.serenicare.com.
