Skip Daniel Patrick Sullivan, 54, passed away June 7, 2011 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by his loved ones; cherished husband of Mary Sinden Sullivan, adored father of Charlotte and Rachael, beloved son of Devra and Stuart, brother of Candy and Kelly, and venerated uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Known for his clever quip and brilliant sense of humor, Skip could get the get the whole room laughing and put everyone at ease. He excelled at hockey, basketball and tennis early on, and moved on to add skiing and golf. Yet, his greatest joy was spending time with his wife and daughters.
Born July 3, 1956 in Moose Jaw, he grew up in Saskatoon, Edmonton and Sarnia, Canada. He graduated with a degree in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration at McMasters University. Following graduation, Skip lived in Toronto, Canada, Cleveland, Ohio and Salt Lake City, Utah where he worked as an executive in the mining industry and in commercial equipment sales internationally.
A memorial service, followed by a reception, will be held at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 East Creek Rd., Salt Lake City, Utah, Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
