Stella Mae Hicks

Our beloved mother, Stella Mae Hicks, 76, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2008. She was born on April 29, 1931 in Sunshine, Arkansas to Willie and Liddie Mae Lewis Hicks.
Stella loved her family. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, telling jokes and stories, fishing and loved to be with her kids and grandchildren.
Stella is survived by her children Louise Gaines Williams, Travistine Owens, Robert Miller, James Miller, Mickey Miller, Bobby Miller, Larrie Miller, Liddie Rita Mae Shelton, Wanda Jean Lucas, Allen Hicks, Virgil Lucas and Sheila Lucas. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Joe Hicks, Sammie Hicks, and Aaron Hicks; sisters Margret Hicks and Annie Hicks and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1090 South State Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at the church where friends and family may call. Interment will follow at Murray City Cemetery.
