Sterling Franklin Harris Larsen passed away peacefully on March 11, 2009 in Provo, Utah. He was born in Payson, Utah on August 6, 1951 to Gerald Leonard and Mary Eleanor Nelson Harris. He graduated from Orem High School and lived in Orem most of his life. Sterling's cheerful personality was a joy to his family. He enjoyed his occupation of driving long haul truck routes in which he gained friends who also enjoyed his friendly disposition. He also had a great love for animals, and treated them kindly. Sterling was member of the LDS Church and served an LDS mission in the state of New York. He is survived by his mother; sister, Patricia Sue Fronk, and nephews Jason and Jeff Evans. He is preceded in death by his father; step-father Dan A. Larsen; and brother Gerald Larsen. The family wish to express appreciation to nurses and physicians at UVRMC for the service and care they rendered. Graveside services under the direction of the LDS Sharon 6th Ward will be held at the Orem Cemetery at 1:00pm on March 16 2009 . In lieu of flowers, burial fund has been set up payable to Sterling Larsen Memorial Fund for the Sterling Larsen Burial Fund.
