Steven Earl Christensen, age 50, passed away October 23, 2006, due to complications of diabetes. Born March 12, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Grant and Ora Christensen. Sealed to Jill K. Christensen in the Salt Lake Temple, December 14, 1979.
Steve served a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints in Nashville, Tennessee. Steve had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and had great knowledge of the church. He served and magnified many callings in the church throughout his lifetime and was a great example to his family and those who knew him. Steve had a passion for building houses and owned Built Right Custom Homes where he received many awards for a house in the Parade of Homes. Steve was always a quick wit with a sweet smile. He had a great love for his family and loved taking his family on spontaneous vacations. His sweet personality always brightened our lives and he had a great love for life.
Survived by his loving wife Jill and their children, Mica, Jessica, Zachary, Seth, Alexandria, Chelsea, and Samuel; Mother Ora Dean Christensen; siblings, Ron (Becky) Christensen, Rosalie (Stan) Nance, (Linda) Christensen, Melinda (Eric) Jansson, Wayne ( Donetta) Christensen, Brent (Sheila) Christensen, Karen Christensen. Preceded in death by his loving brother Alan who passed away October 22, 2006 and his father Grant Christensen.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 30,2006, at 11 a.m. at the Alta Heights Chapel, 1500 E. 8600 S. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. on Monday. Interment at the South Jordan Cemetery.
