Steven Eugene Zimmerman

Steven Eugene Zimmerman of Roy, Utah, passed away on September 19, 2023. He was born on December 29, 1953 in Attica, Ohio. He was the oldest child of Marilyn and Ernest Zimmerman. He and his parents moved to Hooper Utah in 1960. He attended Roy High School and graduated from the Denver Automotive and Diesel College.

He enjoyed shooting traps, target shooting and watching old movies. He worked for Staker Parson as a cement truck driver for over 30 years. He was also a hobby farmer and loved farming equipment and spending time outdoors. He loved animals and always had a couple stray cats that he fed and cared for.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa (Todd) Stringham. Niece and nephews, Sarah Stringham, Daniel (Sarah) Stringham, Travis (Haley) Stringham and 6 great nieces and nephews. He loved them all and was so proud of them. He was preceded in death by his parents whom he had missed terribly. We rejoice in the reunion they are having.

A graveside service will be held on October 3, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Hooper Cemetery 5301 S. 6300 W. Hooper, Utah.
