SueAnn Huntington Price

SueAnn Huntington Price, Our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, and Grandmother passed away, June 6, 2008 in Sandy, Utah. After a long and valiant fight she has returned home to our Heavenly Father. Born June 21, 1953 to Bert and Marjorie Huntington in Provo, Utah. She graduated from Provo High in 1971 and attended Brigham Young Nursing College. She was married to John William Price in the Provo Temple on December 21, 1973.
She worked as an RN for many years working in labor and delivery, which was her passion. She was active in her faith serving as Stake Primary President among other numerous and various callings. A doting and caring mother to her four boys. She was the ideal matriarch for the family. Teaching her children in the ways of strength, honesty, and integrity. Preparing her sons with conviction so they were prepared to meet the world head-on and not compromise. "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. She girdeth her loins with strength, and stregtheneth her arms." (Prov. 31:10). She enjoyed skiing and gardening and was an expert at both. While always a lady, she did not hesitate to go camping and skiing with her boys and teach them self-reliance and how to deal with challenges and adversity in the outdoors and in the real world.
The Family wishes to express its heartfelt and profound gratitude to the numerous friends and relatives who helped provide care and comfort to mother in her last months.
She is survived by her husband, John William. Midvale; Children: John Randall, West Jordan; David Patrick (Sonnya), Virginia; Steven Huntington (Kylee), Alabama ; Scott William, St. George; 7 grandchildren ; Sister :Julie Hatch (Gary), Arizona; Brother: Larry Huntington, Washington, D.C.
A Viewing will be held Tuesday, 6:00- 8:00 PM. Viewing Wednesday at 10:00 with funeral services at 11:00 AM. All services will be held at the LDS ward house 6754 S. 500 E. Midvale, UT.
