Susan Kay Howey

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Susan Kay (Hill) Howey, 57, died August 26, 2009 at home in St. George, UT after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 9, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Keith (deceased) and Betty Hill. Married Mike Adams, divorced. Married her best friend Craig Howey, March 5, 1997, in Maui, HI. Suzie spent her early years in Bountiful, UT, graduating in 1969 from Bountiful High School. For the last 21 years she has lived in St. George, UT and worked 18 years for SkyWest Airlines. During her career she used her artistic talent by decorating offices and homes giving them the 'Suzie' touch. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, her much loved daughter, Aimee Kay Christine (Adams) Cornwell and her children, Bobby and Jaze. Step-sons, their wives and children - Denny, Christopher (Michelle) their children Brinton, Alex and Kaitlyn, Michael, Jeremy (Erin) and their children Ava and Clover Howey, brothers Dr. Ned (Claralyn) Hill, Denny (Charlene) Hill, and sisters Debbie (Mark) Archibald and Pattie (Jim) Jones, their children and grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend Christine Pitts (Mike) Warnes. She leaves behind so many friends, who have all been blessed to have her in their lives, sharing her artistic talent, sense of humor, kindness and love for all people and animals. Our lives were made better because of her.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 29 from11:00 am -1:00 pm at SereniCare Funeral Home, 1316 South 400 East in St. George, UT. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 31 at the Lakeview Memorial Park, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr., Bountiful UT at 11:00 am.
