Teddy Jr. Davis

Teddy Junior Davis was born August 22, 1931 in Carey, Idaho to Fredrick William Davis and Vera Coates Davis.
He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He received a Bachelor and Master Degree from the University of Utah. He married Ramona Adams on April 29, 1959 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Ted worked with the Utah Health Department then took a position with the Colorado State Health Dept. as a Medical Entomologist. He worked in Denver, Colorado for 31 years. After returning to Provo, Utah he returned to the County Health Dept.'s mosquito abatement program. On June 4, 2001, Ted married Melanie Kay Ruesch. He was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many capacities. He enjoyed working with the boy scouts. He enjoyed working in the Provo Temple where he was an assistant shift coordinator in the baptistery.
Ted is survived by his wife, Melanie; his four children, Roger, Paula (Richard), Annabelle, and Lois; nine grandchildren; and his sister Ann (Vernal) Rydalch. Ted is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Ramona; his brother, Dave; and two sisters, Reva and Lois.
Ted was truly a servant of God and a friend to all. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A viewing will be held Monday, February 11, 2008 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Grandview East Stake Center, 1081 West 1060 North, Provo, Utah. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 10:00 am at the same location, viewing will be held one hour prior to service.
