Thelma Peterson Crenshaw 1910 ~ 2007. Thelma P. Crenshaw died October 10, 2007 in Payson, Utah. Thelma was born March 13, 1910 to Cora Anna Beal Peterson and Henry Lewis Peterson in Mesa, Arizona. She married Laurie M. Crenshaw, August 25 th, 1932 in Phoenix, Arizona. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple. Her husband, Laurie preceded her in death on March 5th, 1978.Thelma had received the remarkable promise that she could live as long as she pleased. After 97 years she chose to return home to her loving Heavenly Father. Thelma graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Education and English. She wrote and directed the Senior Follies. Thelma's career included Teaching in the Arizona School Districts, Sky Chiefs Manager for American Air Lines during WWII and Office Manager for Dr. Herbert Waechtler in Napa, California. Thelma is survived by her son Mills Crenshaw, her daughters Catherine Chiniquy and Caroline Crenshaw, 18 grand children, 49 great-great grand children and 5 great-great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Salem West Stake Center Relief Society Room, 695 South 300 West, Salem, Utah. The viewing will be held one hour prior at 10:00 am at the same location. Online condolences may be submitted to www.serenicare.com.
