Thora Leatham Monahan passed away on June 27, 2007 in Salt Lake City. She was born March 23, 1919 in Ogden, Utah to Ida Christina George and Robert Owen Leatham. She married Kenneth Alan Monahan in Green River, Wyoming on Sept. 29, 1940. During her life Thora enjoyed painting and leatherwork.
Thora is survived by her children: Carl Howard Monahan, Dick Alan Monahan, and Tina Monahan Salyer; a brother, Don Leatham; and a sister, Rita Shupe. Preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Sandy Monahan.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Ridgedale Ward, 3400 S. 1100 E. in Salt Lake City.
