Velma Janice Netz passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Draper, Utah surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 5, 1926 in Hastings, Nebraska to Jacob and Lena Ireland Wahl.
She married Herbert Netz on June 12, 1943 in Jerome, Idaho. They have two children, Velta J. Haworth (deceased) and Carol E. Constantino (Ben).
She was a high school graduate. Velma worked in data processing as a key punch operator for the United States Government. She loved music and played several instruments.
She lived in Hawthorne, Nevada for over 50 years, approximately 1950 - 2003, then she moved to Utah to be closer to her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Constantino (Ben), grandchildren Diane E. Butcher, Donald R. Constantino, David Mutz, Melissa Botelho, Richard Mutz, twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
