Venice May Turner

Venice May Larsen Turner, age 76, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Monday, August 13, 2007 after courageously battling cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 15, 1931 in Springville, Utah to Edward LeRoy and Ethel May Larsen. She graduated from Springville High School. She married Roy Singleton and had two wonderful sons. They divorced and she later married Jimmy L. Turner and together they had three children. Venice was a homemaker and a faithful member of the LDS church. She raised her children to love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Crocheting, playing games, traveling and spending time with her family and friends were the things she loved most. She is survived by her husband and four children, Alan (Diane) Singleton, Jay Turner, Ross (Faye) Turner, Roberta (Mike) Lallas, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Diamond, Bert and Billy Lucas, her son Paul Singleton and her parents. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Payson West Stake Center, 780 West 500 South, Payson, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service and on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the same location. Interment at Spanish Fork Cemetery.
