Vida Smith Carter Stuewe

Vida Smith Carter Stuewe passed away peacefully Saturday morning, December 18, 2010 from the arms of her son Scott, to the arms of her husband Kenneth and daughters KenDoll and Jeannette. Vida was born, May 1, 1914 in Union, Utah to William H. and Lorena Jacobson Smith. She attended Jordan High School and the University of Utah. She married Kenneth G Carter, Sept. 13, 1935. She is survived by her son Scott and daughter Margo, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was a friend to everyone and a leader in the Ladies Literary Club, PTA, opera appreciation, Eastern Star in Utah. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling with her husband and family. She is also survived by her younger brother, William Smith. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 21st at Provo City Cemetery at 2pm.
