Virginia Cecilia Archuleta

Salt Lake, Utah - Virginia C Archuleta, 89, of Monte Vista, died October 14, 2010 in the care of Silverado Hospice at home surrounded by her loving family. A special thanks to Silverado hospice and all their workers, for the great care they gave. She was born in Del Norte, CO, August 17, 1921 to Benito and Candelaria Espinosa. She enjoyed visiting friends, playing cards and telling jokes. She loved picking her apples and making pies; and sharing her apples with neighbors and friends. She also enjoyed working in her garden and planting flowers. Virginia is preceeded in death by her son, Tommy Archuleta; husband Jose Archuleta; sisters Annie Zamora, Esther Trujillo; brothers Dave Espinosa and Gilbert Espinosa. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Lovato of Arizona, Norma(Jose) Rodriguez of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Loretta(Octaviano) Monreal of Salt Lake, Utah; 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 37 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Viewing and Service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 9 am Tuesday October 19, 2010. Burial will be at Veterans memorial estate in Bluffdale, Utah. Arrangements are by SereniCare of Draper, Utah.
