Wanda Arlea Cross Johnston Anderson 82, of Grantsville Utah, passed away November 21, 2010, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with cancer. She was born to Francis and Mabel Cross in Salida, CO, on December 21, 1927. She married Lavar Johnston in 1946 (divorced); together they had five children. One child, Linden, died in infancy. She married Joseph Anderson in 1975; he passed away in 1989. Wanda worked as an Avon Lady for many years, enjoying her clients, and won many awards. She had many interests which included crocheting, collecting hummingbirds, doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches, and traveling to visit her family. She also loved dogs and they loved her. She showed unconditional love and support for her beloved family and friends. She is survived by her brother, Fred (Betty) Cross of Centralia, WA, four children, Dan (Laura) Johnston of Roy, UT, Jon (Ruthie) Johnston of Tempe, AZ, Arlea (Gary) Lee of Clearfield, UT, and Leslie Jones of Bryce, AZ, 29 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Advocate Hospice for their loving care and compassion to our mom and gramma. Services will be held Wednesday Nov. 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Apple Chapel located at 415 W. Apple St. in Grantsville, UT. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 prior to the services. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Roy City Cemetery located at 5200 S 2300 W, Roy UT.
