Wanda Lee Moss

Our dear mother, Wanda Lee Moss; 77, of Salt Lake City; passed away peacefully, Jan. 5, 2009 in her home surrounded by her family after a three year battle with cancer. Wanda was born Jan. 2, 1932 in Durango, Colorado, the daughter of Calvin Lester Pierce and Anna Gladys Powell. She married Richard Ray Moss June 4, 1953 in Salt Lake. Together they had four children. She loved her family and they were very special to her. She attended schools in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High School. Wanda had worked for Mountain Belle, Gem Market, Hotel Utah and Residence Inn. She loved to cook and often tried different recipes after watching cooking shows. Mom had a great sense of humor, she would often call up, tell a joke and then say goodbye. Her family will forever cherish the memories of their mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a kind heart and was always helping others. May her love live on forever in the hearts of all those that knew her. "Mom always made sure that her sons and grandchildren were cared for and loved, and love from her will never be forgotten." "We will never forget the love our mother and grandmother showed to every member of her family." "We love and miss you already." Wanda is survived by her sons: Rick, Jeff and Steve(Pam), a sister Betty Jo Tadlock; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
